The second screening of “Six Inches of Soil” is on at Te Kura o Okiwi on Tuesday 26th November, 7 pm for 7.15 screening, see poster below.
This film is the story of three young farmers in the UK on their first year of their regenerative journey to heal the soil and help transform the food system. One of the farmers featured in the film is a delightful young woman called Adrienne (Adie) who completed a three month internship at Pakaraka Permaculture, and then wwoofed for a few weeks at Okiwi Passion in 2018. Caity and Joanne will be there to introduce the film, answer questions and also share informally what is happening in the food resilience space on Aotea.
Free Entry: light nibbles and a hot cuppa tea or hot chocolate will be supplied.
